Alice Robie Resnick (Born 1939 in Erie, Pennsylvania) is a former Justice in Ohio. In 1988, he was Ohio's second and elected third woman to serve on the bench, and was re-elected in 1994 and 2000. His career has included experience as a private lawyer, assistant district attorney, city judge, and as judge in the District Court of Appeals Sixth Ohio.

One of his most controversial opinions is that the dominant 4-3 majority that the Ohio school funding system is unconstitutional.

In 2000, he was opposed by Terrence O'Donnell, in a massive campaign, despite failing.

On January 31, 2005, he was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol for DUI. Some riders have used a cell phone to call Jeep Grand Cherokee that shows erratic driving. The state police confronted him at a gas station and he refused a field test, which resulted in a one-year automatic suspension of his license. After the rejection, he ignored the police order to stay at the gas station and leave. He was withdrawn a few minutes later and failed a quiet test. Justice Resnick enrolled the Blood Alcohol Concentration of 0.22, almost three times the legal limit in the state of Ohio. The dash camera recorded the incident, and lots of audio showing Justice Resnick trying to use his office to get out of the DUI charges appearing on the internet. He was convicted of DUI, a first-degree crime, required to take a three-day alcohol education program, and his license was suspended for six months, excluding a one-year auto suspension. He was not charged with the failure to obey a police officer, refused an arrest, or escaped from the police. The new state law also imposes mandatory prison sentences for offenders who reject the test of tranquility and show greater than 0.17 BAC. The incidents and punishments sparked a wave of public criticism, especially after some part of the 90 minute video recording appeared on various internet video sites.

On January 17, 2006, Resnick announced that he would not seek a fourth term, thus resigning from the bench on January 1, 2007.

Resnick was chosen in 1995 to the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame.
