Jason Stuart Miyares (born February 11, 1976) is an American politician from Virginia. A Republican, he was elected a member of the Virginia House of Delegates on 3 November 2015. He currently represents the 82nd district that includes parts of Virginia Beach.

Miyares was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended a public school in Virginia Beach. His family had fled from Cuba in 1965. Miyares obtained his B.B.A. from James Madison University, and a law degree from William & amp; Mary. He then served as assistant lawyer in Commonwealth Virginia Beach.

Political career
Miyares is the campaign manager for Scott Rigell in the 2010 Congressional elections, when Rigell defeated the ruling Glenn Nye. After that, he remains an advisor to Congressman Rigell and is a partner of the Madison Strategies consulting firm.
By 2015 Miyares nominates the seat of Virginia House of Delegates vacated by Bill DeSteph. Miyares was not affected in Republicans on 9 June. He defeated Democrat Bill Fleming in an election in November. He was the first Cuban in America to be elected to the Virginia General Assembly.
