Jessica Peck (formerly Corry) (born 1979) is a lawyer, columnist, public policy analyst, and American comic. As a conservative Republican, he is best known as the Republican director of the Open Government Institute, a non-profit, bi-partisan transparency organization. He has often appeared on national cable television shows, and has been featured in Newsweek cover stories and the Washington Post column as a prominent voice that changed the partisan nature of the American drug policy debate. In particular, he has articulated his support for the decriminalization of marijuana. High Times featured Peck as "freedom fighter for independence this month".

In 2008, Peck served as executive director of the "Yes on 46" campaign, which failed to seek part of the Colorado Amendment 46 voting initiative, a campaign determined to end reprisals and gender programs in state government and public contracts. Today, he serves as a person who is appointed to the Colorado Advisory Commission of the US Commission on Human Rights, through which he leads the subcommittee on an educational legal process. As the youngest of four children raised by a single father and as part of a wider multi-ethnic family, Peck vocally rejected what he described as "the gentle prowess of low expectations" for demographic groups deemed as inferior and in need of government assistance just because of biology. Similarly, in 2004 he opposed restrictions imposed on education classes at the University of Colorado seeking minority enrollment and first-generation college students, which resulted in the University canceling restrictions.

The 46th contest amendment was the result of the most narrow election in Colorado's general election that year, garnering 49 percent of the vote. In 2004, and at the minimum age allowed 25, Peck ran for District 19 in the Colorado State Senate but was defeated by powerful Sue Windels. Peck's defeat here has been followed by many legislative and litigation victories related to property rights, medical marijuana, free speech, and parental rights. He is known as a free-thinking libertarian who has often taken the GOP over a more conservative position linked to gay rights and punishment reform.

She is the mother of two daughters and lives in the Denver Hilltop neighborhood. Peck had previously married Denver lawyer Rob Corry. After the fall following an incident in which Corry was charged and eventually convicted of a third-degree sexual assault on a family friend, the two were divorced. He represents clients across the country, most often in Washington, D.C. A former US Senatorial press secretary, he also works as a print and broadcast journalist, broadcast producer, and as a side freelancer for ESPN's Monday Night Football.

Peck has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado-Boulder (2001), master's degree in government from Johns Hopkins University (2003), and a law degree from the University of Denver. In addition, he has held several prestigious scholarships, including the Pulliam Fellowship, the Washington Center For Politics and Journalism Fellowship, and the Phillips Foundation Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship. He has studied at various international educational institutions, including Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Charles University of Prague and the University of the Netherlands Antilles in CuraÃÆ'§ao.
