Some of the most prominent cases that Cardoza did include:

  • Mauling Diane Whipple San Francisco Dog Case: In January 2001, Diana Whipple returned to her San Francisco apartment only to be attacked and killed by two large dogs in the hallway of the apartment complex.
Cardoza represents Whipple's domestic partner, Sharon Smith, in his alleged death suit against Knoller and Noel, dog owners. The case challenges laws that deny the legal rights of same-sex couples to file such claims. Cardoza helped Smith recover $ 1.5 million in damages.
On a Christmas Day 2007, a tiger at the San Francisco Zoo jumped out of its cage, killing a 17-year-old boy throwing visitors at the zoo, Carlos Sousa, Jr., and injuring the other two. Cardoza and his law firm brought charges due to negligence, wrongful death, and public disruption to the San Francisco Zoo on behalf of Sousa's parents. Cardoza drew particular attention to the fact that zoags for animals are inadequate. He argues that regardless of the ridicule that occurs, animals with the potential to cause serious injury or death to zoo visitors should not be able to escape from their cages. The amount achieved in the settlement was not disclosed.
  • The Barry Bonds Steroids Scandal Cardoza represents Stevie Hoskins, a friend of San Francisco Giants hitter, Barry Bonds. Hoskins testified before the Grand Jury who accused Barry Bonds for a statement of perjury about the use of his steroid.

The killing took place in a family home in the 1970s and remains an unsolved crime until the early 2000s. Cardoza and his litigation team are working to undermine the testimony of witnesses. This case eventually became the first innocent verdict in San Mateo County for over 20 years.

Cardoza appeared on CNN and Fox News as a legal analyst at Scott Peterson Panel Discussion However, after Cardoza became personally involved with the case, the court placed an order of silencing on him. As part of the preparation for the case, Peterson's lawyer reached out to Cardoza for help in cross-checking his client and determining whether Peterson should take a stand.
  • Your Muslim Black Bread Shop : Cardoza defends the company in case of a crime attack in which the jury arrives at an innocent verdict. This is the main case in the trial of Chauncey Bailey Murder.

Marlene's 13-year-old daughter Christine weighed more than 600 pounds when she died in November 1996. Despite Marlene's efforts to help control her daughter's weight, Christine's obesity brought her too soon. At the time of his death, Christine had a wound on her body and could no longer attend school. He can not get out of his house without hearing rude and painful comments from his friends and classmates. Christine's death sparked a debate about the responsibilities of parents in controlling obesity in their children.
