Vince Megna (born August 24, 1944 in Iron Mountain, Michigan) is a Wisconsin lawyer famous for representing consumers in a 'lemon law' suit against motor vehicle manufacturers. The lemon law is a type of consumer protection law that offers assistance to motor vehicle buyers with recurrent mechanical problems or other issues that are not resolved within a reasonable time by the dealer or manufacturer.

Legal career
Megna graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1973. She has succeeded in representing consumers in over 1,500 Lemon Law cases, winning some of the largest jury verdicts and lemon law settlements in the country and has been debating before the Supreme Court of Wisconsin and the Court of Appeals.. In 2003, Lawyers Weekly USA chose Megna as one of ten "Lawyers of the Year" for her work in consumer advocacy. In 2006, Megna won in one of the largest Lemon Law rulings in the country, a $ 385,000 decision against DaimlerChrysler Corporation for the defective Dodge Viper. Tesla Motors Controversy
On April 9, 2014 when Tesla Motors released a statement about a lawsuit filed against them from Megna. Tesla's statement claims that Megna has filed a lawsuit because they ignored three demands to buy back from her client. Tesla, claimed to have received only one request in November 2013, as a prerequisite for pursuing a claim in Wisconsin.
Tesla goes on to state,
"To give you a sense of our service relationship with this customer, it's worth considering our efforts to resolve the two main complaints One related to broken door handles.Although our service team can not replicate the problem with the handle door as described, we replace all the handles Even though it has been fixed, the customer says the problem persists. We can never reproduce the alleged damage but offer to check the car again and still try to do it.
Another problem is that the car's fuse exploded on various occasions. Each time, our engineers explore all possible explanations and can never find anything wrong with the car. However, just to make sure, we replace some parts that may be related to alleged issues - all at no cost to customers. Tesla also noted that Vince Megna had entered into a separate Lemon Law Law against Volvo in February of the same year, with the same client.
Vince Megna posted a video about the lawsuit on April 7, 2014. Before becoming a lawyer, Megna maintained a simple musical career playing guitar with famous players, including Teddy Randazzo ("Goin 'Out Of My Head" and "Hurt So Bad"), Bobby Hart, Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, Virtuoso Tommy Gumina and guitar great Herb Ellis jazz.
