Sex and law deals with rules by the law of human sexual activity. Sex laws vary from one place or jurisdiction to another, and vary from time to time, and unlawful sexual acts are also called sex crimes .
Some laws governing sexual activity are intended to protect one or all participants, while others are intended to forbid behavior that has been defined as a crime. For example, a law may prohibit unprotected sex if one person knows that he or she has sexual illness or to protect minors; or may prohibit non-consensual sex, or because of the relationship between participants, etc. In general, the law may prohibit acts considered to be either sexual harassment or behaviors that society considers inappropriate and contrary to social norms. Sexual harassment is unwanted sexual intercourse between two or more adults or two or more minors, and, depending on age-related laws of consent, sexual contact between an adult and a minor.

Sex crime is a form of human sexual behavior which is a crime. Someone who does something is said to be a sex offender . Some sex offenses are violent crimes involving sex. Others are social taboo violations, such as incest, sodomy, indecent exposure or exhibitionism. There are many variations among cultures like what they consider to be evil or not, and in what respect or how far the crime is punished.
Western cultures are often much more tolerant of acts, such as oral sex, which are traditionally considered as crimes in some cultures, but combine this with lower tolerance for the remaining crimes. On the contrary, many cultures with strong religious traditions consider wider activities as serious crimes.
As a general rule, laws in many countries often interfere with sexual activity involving young people or teenagers under the legal age of consent, non-consensual deliberate display or watching forbidden sexual activity, sex with incest, in animals. , actions involving the deceased (necrophilia), and also when there is harassment, harassment, fear, injury, or sexual offensive, or a serious risk of abuse of a particular professional relationship. Separately, the law usually regulates or controls the censorship of pornographic or obscene material as well. Various laws aim to protect children by making various acts with children of sex crimes. Agreement age
Although the phrase "age of consent" or "rape by law" usually does not appear in the law, when used in connection with sexual activity, the age of consent is the minimum age at which a person is legally competent to agree to engage in sexual acts. Agreement ages vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This median ranges from 16 to 18 years, but laws that mention ages ranging from 9 to 21 do exist. Homosexuality
In some states, sex between same-sex members, or between men, is illegal. In a report conducted in 2013, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex International Association (ILGA) shows that homosexuality is still criminalized in some form in 76 countries, with high concentrations of these countries in the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia. Scholars have found that religion plays an important role in the laws that criminalize sodomy. Muslim-dominated countries, for example, tend not to decriminalize sodomy because this act is in direct conflict with Islamic tradition. While quantitative research has not proven the relationship between sodomy and Christian criminalization that continues, there are many Protestant denominations, as well as the Roman Catholic Church, which has a hateful policy toward homosexuality. While one might expect that the decriminalization of sodomy laws would support the mobilization of lesbian and gay rights, this is not necessarily the case, as there is debate as to whether or there is a direct relationship between the two. In legislation on sodomy, there is usually no explicit statement given to support gay and lesbian rights since reforms in general result from major changes to criminal law. There is some evidence to support the opposite effect, since the sodomy re-authorization in India in 2013 led to a revival of gay rights activism.
In studying the change of sodomy statutes, Frank et al. (2009) found that between 1945 and 2005, "90 percent of all modifications involve liberalization in some way" non-heterosexual acts. This is seen as evidence of "a wave of sodomy-law reform." During the same period, however, eight countries expanded their laws on sodomy. In January 2014, Nigeria expanded the criminalization of their homosexuality by issuing laws to enforce more severe penalties including restrictions on same-sex marriage and participation in gay organizations. Sodomy laws, however, are rarely used to punish consensual acts, involving adults, that occur personally. In the 1970s, the only arrest (in the US) involving consensual, non-heterosexual acts was public or quasi-public. While many sodomy laws relate to sexual acts that are contrary to sexual orientation, the law is often interpreted as if being gay or lesbian is sufficient evidence to consider someone guilty of having been involved in a criminal act. This led the US judge to refuse parental custody of their children, the student group was not given recognition by university officials, and many legislators opposed civil rights bills that included sexual orientation.
Many revisions to sodomy laws are not part of a major government transition, but are included as part of another general revision of the criminal law. There are two main channels in which sodomy laws have been decriminalized: the cancellation of the courts and the revocation of legislation by the vote of the law. The United States did not decriminalize national sodomy until 2003; However, many countries, based on the council of judges and lawyers, decriminalize sodomy as early as 1961.
During Putin's resurgence, Russia has seen a resurgence in "religious conservativism" which has resulted in homosexuality that again indiscriminately criminalizes. An amendment was made for Russian legislation in 2013 which emphasized the protection of children from information that could be considered harmful to their health and mental development. The US and Europe have condemned Russian action, but despite domestic and international setbacks, Russia's anti-LGBT propaganda laws are still standing.
Incest
Sexual activity between family members or close relatives is often considered incest, which is illegal in many jurisdictions, although what constitutes an "incestuous relationship" varies according to jurisdiction, and may depend on the type of sexual activity and whether the relationship is one of conciliation, affinity or relationship others, as with adoption. In law, forbidden sexual activity is usually limited to sexual intercourse, although terminology varies, and which in some jurisdictions is confined to vaginal penile intercourse. Incestual sexual activity, as defined by each jurisdiction, usually violates the law regardless of the consent of the parties and irrespective of their age. This means that people will curse those who take part in family sexual activity, even if all parties agree on adults.
Sex outside marriage
Adultery is a crime in many countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kuwait, Maldives, Morocco, Oman, Mauritania, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sudan, and Yemen.
Female genital mutilation
Tradition and tradition are the most frequently cited reasons for female genital mutilation (FGM). FGM is the removal of genitals in cultures that perpetuate male dominance. Approximately 125 million girls and women become victims of female genital mutilation worldwide. With practice it is often done to exercise control over the sexual behavior of girls and women or as a perceived aesthetic enhancement for the appearance of their genitals.
