William C. Killian (born February 14, 1949) is an American lawyer. He previously served as US Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Military and educational services
Killian served in the United States Army as part of the Tennessee National Guard from 1970 to 1973, when he received honorable dismissal as a corporal. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1971 and the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975.

Legal career
Killian had been a sole practitioner at William C. Killian, Attorney at Law, P.C., from 1979 to 2010. He also served as City Attorney for the town of Monteagle from 1981 to 1988, and from 1996 to 2010; and as Assistant District Attorney for the 12th District of Tennessee from 1976 to 1979, and from 1988 to 1990. From 1979 to 1980, he was a professor at Edmondson Junior College and Northeast State Junior College.
United States attorney
On May 20, 2010 Killian was nominated by President Barack Obama to become US Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee. He was reportedly well by the United States Senate Committee on Justice on September 23, 2010. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on a vote on September 29, 2010. He was inducted into office on October 4, 2010. In November. 19, 2015, Killian resigns from office to rejoin his private practice.
