Harland W. Braun (born September 21, 1942) is a criminal defense lawyer for Los Angeles, California. His cases include successfully defending John Landis and other defendants, George Folsey, Jr. in underground murder trials, defended Bobbi Fiedler on bribery charges, successfully defended state criminal charges against one of the officers accused of beating guilty Rodney King in subsequent federal hearing, and defending some officers in the Rampart scandal. Braun withdrew from representing Robert Blake in a murder trial when Blake gave a television interview on his advice. Other celebrity clients include Roseanne Barr, Gary Busey, Chris Farley, Lane Garrison, and Dennis Rodman.

Braun attended UCLA and UCLA Law School, and worked at the district attorney's office before becoming a solo practitioner in 1973.

Braun is known for his outspoken and indecent comments in his client's defense, such as calling heavy boots an officer wore while kicking King as "ballet shoes." "Every high profile client will be tried in the media," Braun said. "You can only neutralize prosecution in the media. To say you will not try it in the media like saying you will not show up on the first day of the trial, because the trial starts on the first day of the prosecution, started leaking evidence."
